Summary:As a Mechanical Engineering Practitioner, you will design, analyze, and build structures, machines, devices, systems, and mechanical processes. You will generate, build, and test functional prototypes to validate feasibility and identify opportunities for technological innovation. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in 3D modeling to create and modify designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success, and conducting research to stay updated on the latest advancements in the field.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Should have Experience in fixture or tooling design for the manufacturing Industry preferred Tractor Industry

Designing of tools & Fixtures like as Material handling Equipment's for tractor parts, trolleys, Material movement tools/racks in NX software.

Designing of line fixtures for holding tractor related components

Leading all activities of tool design & development from conceptual through detail phases, post design support to development, Performing Component feasibility study, involvement in quoting tool cost.

Should be conversant in NX software Modeling, surfacing, sheet metal and drafting modules.

should be able to communicate fixture manufacturing requirements to outside vendors.

Able to research components that could be used or needed for a fixture design.

Responsible to work with outside sources to select new or correct components needed for a fixture design.

Able to multi-task and change priorities based upon business needs.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in 3D Modeling with NX Software.

Good understanding of Mechanical engineering principles and concepts.

Knowledge of materials and their properties for design optimization.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and techniques.

Ability to present fixture designs to cross team groups for design review before procuring the fixture.

Ability to demonstrate good manufacturing practices when designing a fixture.

Should be good in Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in 3D Modeling with NX Software

This position is based for onsite Client (Hoshiarpur-Punjab)

A B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering is required.
