Summary:As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the systems and services.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Ensure the smooth functioning of production systems and services.

Manage the delivery of services based on operational requirements and service agreement.

Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve any issues or problems.

Monitor the performance of systems and services and take necessary actions to optimize them.

Implement and maintain system configurations and settings.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production systems and services.

Document and maintain accurate records of system configurations and changes.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to production systems and services.

Assist in the development and implementation of new systems and services.

Ensure compliance with security and privacy policies and regulations.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address any vulnerabilities or risks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of systems and services.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Unix Architecture and Design.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with Sun Solaris Server Management, IBM Quantum, HPUX System Administration.

Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.

Experience in managing and supporting Unix-based systems.

Knowledge of system administration and troubleshooting techniques.

Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.

Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

Ability to analyze and interpret system logs and performance metrics.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Unix Architecture and Design.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
