Job Description

Job Title: P2P GPO Project Management Lead

Level: CL 8

Location: Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, or Delhi NCR

Department: CS&S Innovation & Transformation

Report to: Global Payables COE I&T Lead

Date: Immediate

Global process owners (GPOs) are individuals who own an end-to-end process across functional silos, geographic and business unit boundaries.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in F&A Process transformation, business process automation, process improvement and data analytics, specifically you must have led at least two F&A transformation projects
  • Experience shaping large scale digital AP transformations. You should be well versed with Industry digital F&A technologies and leading tools (Ariba P2P, SAP 4 HANA, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Power Point), automation, artificial intelligence (AI) and analytics and have a proven track record of implementing digital finance solutions
  • Experience in process diagnostic, recommendation, documentation and implementation of leading process and procedures for finance and accounts functions, including Procure to Pay (P2P), Record to Report (R2R), planning and budgeting, credit and collection, treasury, and taxation
  • Compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Willingness to "constructively dissent" and challenge senior management thinking
    • Roles & Responsibilities

    Drive standardization, efficiency, top quartile performance & business outcomes across P2P
  • P2P Strategic Directions Define strategy, vision, process for P2P. Review & define P2P mission & vision for long, medium, and short terms
  • E2E Process Design & Implementation Mobilize project team including non-GPO resources when needed for deployment of non-IT related projects and manage change. Conduct trainings for internal stakeholders to ensure compliance
  • Design & document E2E process, lead, and own change control process around new service addition/process changes, collaborate with stakeholders inc. global & regional delivery leads to ensure execution of effective processes and improvement and smooth implementation of initiatives
  • Support delivery of changes (releases) - Support transformation in design & implementation of IT projects or/and change requests
  • Innovation & Best Practices Identify opportunities, understand best-in-class performance. Monitor and compare internal performance to industry leaders to identify opportunities.
  • Review internal & external practices, identify, and share with stakeholders to drive continuous development in terms of process, technology, and organization
  • Gather opportunities, understand impact of initiatives to delivery, CIO/FPA, internal and external stakeholders. Mapp overall innovation to GPO outcomes
  • Work with transformation to develop Total Value' business case. Assess all the opportunities to define priority for implementation and approve changes/deviations & improvement through established governance mechanism
  • Stakeholder Management Collect and measure project metrics data to drive adjustment, regularly update performance metrics definitions, documentation, and reporting practices
  • Design and deliver P2P communication to stakeholders Publish communication, and other outreach program to effectively communicate latest practices on P2P across Accenture and specific P2P initiatives
  • Define and run governance for P2P
