Job Title:EMC Storage Administrator.Role Description:Candidate should be capable to provide L3 operations on EMC Technology and FC Switch Administration.Must Have Skills:DELL Power Store/ Power Vault ME5012 /EMC Unity/EMC VNX/DELL Compellent and SAN Switch CISCO MDS and Brocade Good to Have Skills:DELL EMC Data Domain VEEAM Backup or Other storage technologies.Experience:The candidate should have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in EMC Storage SAN and NAS Administration.Job Requirements:Key Responsibilities:

Should have sound experience in providing L3 support for Storage Management and support on Dell EMC Storage

Design and implement Dell EMC Storage systems including installation, configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning.

Administer Fibre Channel SAN fabrics, including installation, configuration, zoning, software upgrades, and maintenance of switches.

Design and Configure Replication for Disaster Recovery using DELL EMC Replication software VMAX SRDF / SyncIQ,MirrorView ,Power Store Replication

Plan and implement best practices for NAS and SAN solutions.

Create and update documentation for storage procedures.

Backup Management (Backups/Recovery jobs)

Monitoring (Software and Hardware)

Performing Scheduled Backups and On-Demand Backup requests

Backup troubleshooting on failures and slowness issue

Technical Experience:

Should have sound experience in Cluster mode and Dell Storage high Availability, Disk technologies, RAID Levels, Snapshot technologies.

Good knowledge on CIFS, NFS, ISCSI and FCP protocols.

Experience with installation, configuration and management of storage arrays and switches expected.

Experience with Brocade and Cisco SAN Switches.

Experience on Storage Pools, Tiering, LUN masking and zoning.

Proven skills in understanding customer storage requirements, implementing Fiber Channel and iSCSI SAN solutions, and integrating different operating systems and applications.

Should have knowledge about the ITIL framework.

Relevant certifications will be an added advantage.

Should have experience on adding/updating backup and schedule policies, troubleshooting on backup failures, managing licensing and capacity usages.

Should have experience on multiple agents which includes Filesystem, SQL, Oracle, Exchange, SAP, Active Directory and VM ware.

Should have hands-on experience performing upgrades and patch updates.

Good understanding of Deduplication in Commvault and its implantation.

Should have experience knowledge on One Touch recovery, BareMetal restore.

Should have experience on replication and secondary Copy management and configuring backups on multiple remote sites.

Should have knowledge in performing disaster recovery backups. Managing High availability Backup Server and Performing backup migration.

Should have experience on configuring the Disk and Tape library in backups.

Should have hands-on experience in performing restoration of filesystem data.
