Job Description

At Academically , an Australian healthcare EdTech platform, we are on a mission to transform education for healthcare professionals worldwide. We are seeking a passionate, creative, and energetic Video Content Creator to join our team full-time. You will craft well-researched, fact-based, and highly engaging video content for our community, moving beyond generic material to create share-worthy, thought-provoking visuals.

As part of your responsibilities, you will create long-form videos for YouTube, short reels for Instagram, and manage live events. You will also have the opportunity to host and moderate events, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience for our audience. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, including Instagram, YouTube, and influencer marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Production:
- Plan, script, shoot, and edit high-quality educational videos.
- Create engaging video tutorials, course materials, explainers, and promotional videos.
- Develop both long-form (lectures, tutorials) and short-form (social media, ads) video content.
- Ensure all video content adheres to brand and instructional design guidelines.
Content Creation & Storyboarding:
- Collaborate with instructional designers, educators, and subject matter experts to create video scripts and storyboards.
- Translate complex educational topics into accessible, visually appealing content.
- Create supplementary content, including animations, infographics, and interactive elements.
Post-Production:
- Edit raw footage into polished videos with appropriate pacing, transitions, graphics, and sound effects.
- Ensure consistency in video style, branding, and tone.
- Optimize video formats and resolutions for various platforms (e.g., mobile, desktop, social media).
Platform Management & Publishing:
- Upload, manage, and maintain video content across various platforms (YouTube, LMS, company website).
- Monitor video analytics to assess performance and optimize future content.
Collaborative Development:
- Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, instructional designers, and marketing teams, to align content with educational goals.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new video and content ideas.
Research & Innovation:
- Stay updated on trends in educational video production and EdTech innovations.
- Experiment with new video styles, formats, and technologies to enhance learning experiences.

Education Requirements:

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Healthcare , Communications (Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication) , or an MBA in Digital Marketing . A strong educational background in these fields will provide the necessary knowledge to craft content that is both engaging and accurate. Experience in digital marketing, particularly in the healthcare or EdTech sectors, is highly preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in video production, content creation, or a similar role (preferably in the EdTech or education sector).
- Strong portfolio showcasing educational or instructional video content.
- Passionate Fresher also welcome to apply.
Skills:
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
- Familiar with animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, Vyond) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and pacing.
- Experience in creating content for digital platforms and social media.
- Basic knowledge of instructional design principles is a plus.
Creative Abilities:
- Strong sense of creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
- Excellent storytelling and scriptwriting skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce visually consistent content.
