Chargeback Specialist

Global eBrand is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Chargeback Specialist to manage and resolve chargebacks effectively. This role is integral to protecting our revenue, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Chargeback Management: Handle chargebacks efficiently by analyzing, disputing, and resolving claims in a timely manner.
• Dispute Resolution: Work closely with customers and payment processors to resolve disputes, including reviewing transaction history, evidence gathering, and crafting persuasive arguments for chargeback reversals.
• PayPal Experience: Manage PayPal-related chargebacks, including understanding PayPals policies, disputing claims, and ensuring proper documentation.
• Fraud Prevention: Identify potentially fraudulent transactions and collaborate with the risk management team to prevent chargebacks before they occur.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on chargeback trends, dispute resolutions, and performance metrics for management.
• Compliance: Ensure all chargeback activities comply with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in chargeback management, with a strong focus on PayPal chargeback processes.
• PayPal Expertise: Extensive experience in managing chargebacks through PayPals platform, including understanding PayPals dispute resolution system and policies.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze transaction data, identify chargeback trends, and interpret chargeback codes.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with customers, internal teams, and payment processors.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using chargeback management tools and payment platforms like PayPal
• Certifications: Any chargeback management certifications are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other payment processors (Visa, MasterCard, etc.).
• Familiarity with industry regulations.
