Canadian Book Keeper

About Us:
Global eBrand is looking for an experienced Canadian Bookkeeper to manage financial records, ensure compliance with Canadian tax laws, and support business operations. This role will require expertise in accounting principles, Canadian taxation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
• Ensure accurate tracking of expenses and revenues in accordance with Canadian tax laws.
• Process payroll and manage tax remittances for employees in compliance with CRA regulations.
• File GST/HST returns and other government filings.
• Track and prepare tax documents, liaising with tax preparers for year-end filings.
• Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Utilize QuickBooks or other accounting software for maintaining records.
• Collaborate with the finance team to maintain accurate records and ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Skills:

• Canadian Bookkeeping Experience Expertise in managing Canadian financial records, compliance, and payroll.
• Accounting Software Proficient in QuickBooks.
• Tax Compliance Experience handling GST/HST returns, CRA filings, and tax remittances.
• Reconciliation & Reporting Strong ability to reconcile accounts and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Payroll Processing Experience managing Canadian payroll processes in compliance with CRA.
• Attention to Detail Ability to accurately track financial transactions, ensure correct categorization, and identify discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Canadian bookkeeping or accounting.
• Strong understanding of Canadian tax laws and payroll processes.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
