Associate - Finance

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording journal entries and maintaining general ledgers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase & sale registers, ensuring timely recording of all the purchase and sale transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist with year-end audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations for financial transactions.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and standards, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and guidelines.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to management as needed.

Requirements

• M.Com or CA Inter with 2 to 3 years experience in Bookkeeping
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience working with Tally and Zoho books
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Accustomed to dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
