Brief About the Team

The Category Team is a center of excellence within Tata 1mg. This team executes cross-functional tasks to enhance selection, pricing, and service. They work collaboratively with manufacturers to grow their brands on the platform. Their scope spans business verticals, including e-pharma, institutional business, e-diagnostics, and retail.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead a team of content writers to create high-quality, engaging, and grammatically accurate content for the website, articles, and communication channels.
• Curate and review existing website content to ensure alignment with the brand's voice and messaging.
• Manage the end-to-end copy creation process, ensuring content is compelling, effective, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Conduct quality checks to maintain originality, clarity, credibility, and SEO optimization.
• Collaborate with category, marketing, medical, and creative design teams to align content with team strategies and requirements.
• Train, mentor, and guide team members to enhance productivity and ensure high-quality content delivery.
• Track content performance and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

• Graduate/Postgraduate degree, preferably in English (Honours) or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of professional experience in content writing, editing, and team management.
• Strong team leadership and mentoring skills, with prior experience managing teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills for creating and reviewing content.
• Proficiency in SEO strategies and optimization techniques.
• Ability to manage tight timelines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multitasking skills with an independent and disciplined work ethic.
