Round 2 - HR 

(2 Questions)

  • Q1. General questions about AWS+ Devops+ kubernetes
  • Ans. The screening questions which ranged from Devops AWS & kubernates, IT skills on basics. The recruited noted down my response to the 8-9 questions, they are mostly basic ones, like the current environement setup, on EKS, AWS, scripting, docker, IT management etc,.

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - This is my long response to help the job seekers, please have patience to read through till the end as it was a unique experience with a twist in the End ;)

The 1st technical round was conducted by third party panel who was not aware of the current environment. It was easy to clear as it was some mid level operations guy.. So here is the First RED flag.

The 2nd round was strangely some Lead from different department who had no real devops knowledge and less awareness to roles and responsibilities, asked a few questions shared by the same format as mentioned in screening round, which was easy to clear, when asked question they kept mentioning about their EUREQA SAAS platform. This round was just namesake and again a RED Flag.

The 3rd round panel who tried to ask some tricky questions, who was trying to ask for commitment, irrespective of the current problems in the role and it was not giving me confidence. which was a BIG Red flag.

I was offered the role for Full remote work as Im in different state but the Major RED Flag was there in the Offer Letter which had conditions and tasks that had to be met in 3-6 months of time of joining which was asking for too much and seemed like threatening.

I asked for meeting with their internal team which was arranged very after much struggle, it was also inexperienced lacked any interest while discussion as observed by the lack of standard in the interview process. which was another big RED flag as they seemed arrogant

And finally, I rejected the job as there was no line Manager in the department who I could talk with and connect to get a clear picture on the Tasks. I personally felt that it would be very bad for me to join a contract and exposed to chaotic environment and getting stuck nowhere to seek out.

In short they had too many RED Flags
