Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: To handle the founder day activity as a chief .

General Tips: I cleared both two rounds of interview but I did not get job. Because I worked in Hypercity retail company and now Hypercity is also a part of future group. So they did not give me salary growth of a single penny. And they committed for job in different city with the same package, which I was taking from my previous company. I said them that I can't survive with this package and they told me it is company policy that we will hire Hypercity employees on same package. Even they was giving salary hike with 20 to 30 % to other candidates whom was not worked with other company except Hypercity. That's why I did not join easy day store.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Managing Director
Experience: Owner took my interview, as this company don't have hierarchy.
Took almost 15-20 minutes, asked several questions. regarding my profile, company details, my KRA, why did i left etc. Offered me salary on the spot and wanted me to join immediate, as a working professional no one can leave previous organisation in bad note by not serving notice period. Asked them to give me time and will update you. Meanwhile HR tried to convince me to join anyhow by giving false information about company status at world level. Given false information regarding company benefits which i found later is not there. Actually they need employee during diwali season, so they hire like a blind people, they hire on the basis of colors, communication etc. They don't check technical knowledge of SM KRA's. They put 3-4 store manager at one store which is not possible in any retail brands.

General Tips: Dear All,

This is the easiest interview i have attended in my career. May be don't know what type of question needs to be asked from store manager to judge his/her credibility and intelligence level. @one store they put 3-4 store manager which creates problem while addressing issues to whom as there was no reporting manager in between. Anyone can ask anything from you which is not your KRA and you have to answer those people who has zero knowledge of retail industry.

They actually don't know how retail format works all around. Everything missing, No inventory track record, no transparent software from where you can get transaction record. They do totally manually based work, no audit, no stock replenishment, kept 5 years old collection and selling those only. Selling silver and gold plating items but not giving any authentication for same. They are cheating with customer's. Its very difficult for those who comes from organised retail.

My personal advice- Please do not join this company until or unless you need money. They are career spoilers, unhealthy working environment, negativity all around, no respect of employees, not possible to work on SM KRA'S, They don't addressed customer issues when it comes to product damage which hamper your relationship with customers.

Better to look and work in organised company rather than with such bully environment.
