Alternate documents for Employee verification?
My new employer asked for my previous offer letters and salary slips. When I inquired, they said it was for background verification.
However, I feel that providing these documents might affect salary negotiations, and it feels a bit unethical too.

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Don't go for it. One morning you'll wake up to see that you are laid off without any prior notice. And salary payment system is the worst. They wouldn't pay you on time your salary might get delayed from 10th of the month till 20th of the month. Once we were paid on the 26th of the month, which was almost the end of that very month. After I got laid off they didn't even bother to provide my full salary and not even my experience certificate. Worst of all the company's I have worked with.
