Interview Questionnaire

1 Question

  • Q1. Number of technical and non technical questions were asked but perhaps more important ones were around leadership skills.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: Technical questions answered well but wherever I did not know I honestly said no rather making wild guesses. Technical questions which you learn on the job being a fresher I applied my common sense and answered accordingly. One question that perhaps I answered well was relating to how am I going to handle the fleet of old accountants who are sitting in a remote factory in Maharashtra. The question puzzled me but if I vaguely remember I did mention that i have the technical skills as I am a qualified Chartered accountants but may be I am not a born leader but a potential leader in making for that i need to win the trust and confidence of the people who I am supposed to be leading and this will be a exciting challenge for me. I got selected.
Tips: Be Honest to yourself and also be smart while responding

I was interviewed in Jun 2017.

Interview Questionnaire

1 Question

  • Q1. Apart from normal technical questions relating to studies; there were other technical questions which comes from experience only

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: So I could honestly answer few of them but where I was not confident I firmly said NO keeping in mind the fact that these are the areas I need to work upon. But there was this last question which perhaps cinched the show. This position was based somewhere in remote are of Maharashtra in a very old factory with average age of people in the division around 45..50 and then I was asked how I am going to lead in such an environment. I was numb but then I was honest in responding. I vaguely remembered I did mention that it's a joinery that I am undertaking and I need to now learn the art of leading also. Leaders are not only born they are also made. I need to put my knowledge and positive attitude to learn this at. To my surprise out of so many candidates I got selected for the job perhaps the other story could be the other candidates might have rejected the offer being in such a far flung place. But that did not bother me. Honesty; sincerity, attitude pays
