Round 1 - One-on-one

  • Q1. They will ask you to introduce yourself and give you a link to download dummy software and will ask you about it.
  • Ans. Well the software is basically useless as it works differently and when you close the software and pen it once again, it might work properly and vice versa.

  • Q2. They won't tell you about the salary and you will get salary details, once the appointment letter arrives.
  • Ans. This helps them in a way if you are starting to negotiate and will tell you to join in low salary as increment will happen after 6 months, which is again a lie as there are no HR in the office.

I participated in SAP Labs' 2025 placement drive at Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) for the SAP Basis Consultant role. The process included three rounds: an aptitude + CS fundamentals test, a group discussion (GD), and a technical + HR interview. In the GD, I confidently initiated the discussion on "Being Famous vs Being Knowledgeable," supporting my points with examples. During the interview, I discussed my resume, internship experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Prisma ORM, and machine learning models like Random Forest Regression. I also explained my problem-solving approach and adaptability to new technologies. I was one of the five students selected, and it was a great learning experience. The interviewer was unclear and needs to be approached from candidate side to be reminded that his/her interview is scheduled. Like is this the way things happen . Absolutely NO. Terrible experience with interviewer. And one more thing hiring 40 people never means like a act of over kindness. It's just you need to meet your human power.
