Round 1 - Case Study

I participated in a product case study, and the interviewer was quite impressed by my experience. He then mentioned that he would provide positive feedback. However after this I was waiting for response and the HR told they will send me an offer letter. I was waiting for a good 4 week and then when I asked her about an update she said we have kept your cv in pipeline for future opportunities. Just one line this is really ridiculous. Bad experience

Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - I found the feedback from HR very misleading. I got selected in both technical rounds and HR asked for documents and pay slips without handing me the offer. After the HR interview and salary discussion HR said, ' We will see how much we can give you and which band we can fit you' . I thought HR will get back to me with an offer in a week or two. I contacted HR after 2 weeks and asked if they were interviewing or considering other candidates. HR reassured that they were busy interviewing for another senior position and there are no issues in my candidature. Suddenly after a month HR calls me only to inform that they retained the previous candidate for the role I interviewed for. The company can hire whoever they think is suitable for the role. I totally understand that. But it is better for both parties if they keep the communication honest, open and transparent. It seems like they take their candidates for granted. They do not seem to value our time. It seems like they have no respect for their candidates. Please be careful.
