Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - I applied in job portal for Senior Executive HR position in Chennai. Had two rounds of interview.
Round 1 - with dept. head located in Coimbatore & Round 2 - Operations consultant located in Bangalore

This is a start-up company head office located at Coimbatore. Catering to the intra-logistics industry - material handling equipment operations & services rendered to its clients.

I was shortlisted and offered for Sr. Exe-HR in Chennai office. In my Offer it was mentioned Appointment Letter be issued after my probation period (06 months) if found satisfactory - reason being Company's policy. But I requested to issue my Appointment after my joining and later after discussion they agreed to issue within 10 days after joining.

I am unable to join on the agreed date due to valid reasons, my joining extended for a week's time. On the revised joining date I was totally ill, but I joined (worked for 1 day) and informed about my absence the next day due to sickness. I was asked to communicate to my superior and did the same by call & message.

After few days they didn't respond to my calls & message - stating that I was being delayed to start my operations work & they are unable to proceed further with my candidature as per the company's policy.

How a new joiner shall start the operations part the very first day without completing induction schedule.

Highly unprofessional behaviour exhibited by my reporting superior.
