Interview Preparation Tips
Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Please DO NOT OPT for this employer, if you have any other option left in your career search. They do not post vacancies in websites, work only on referrals, so feedbacks like these go unnoticed.
My experience : HR Manager did not share even the basic JD even when asked specifically. When reached the VP's desk, he wondered how i reached there, saying this was not at all the profile he was looking for.
HR: If you have targets of bringing in "quantity" for interviews, this is not the way, playing with candidates. Be courteous enough to share all details, atleast that will prevent feedbacks like these, publicly. Try going out and conducting placement drives, that may give you "quantity".
VP: Please make sure you share exact JD and your specific requirements with HR. Our time, energy and money is also precious, like yours. It is to your team that you should have said"this is not the profile I need"; not to the candidate. Maybe an initial shallow screening of resumes shortlisted by your 'talented' team will help in that.

Alternate documents for Employee verification?
My new employer asked for my previous offer letters and salary slips. When I inquired, they said it was for background verification.
However, I feel that providing these documents might affect salary negotiations, and it feels a bit unethical too.

Tips: Amcat exam is very good for a fresher as it will provide you a lot of job opportunities.
Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: Since my b.tech background was electrical so few questions were asked from topics related to machine.They asked me to write a C program. In the HR interview they just gelled well with me and specially they looked how confident I was.
Tips: little bit of knowledge about programming will do and be confident through out your interview.do not panic
