Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Very unfair interview process.
The first round was great and took around 1 hour to finish.
The second round is where all the problems started. 2nd Round was taken by the project manager Suresh Kumar. He was sitting in some dark cafe.
He either seemed to be in some sort of hurry or he was very sleepy(?). He was even muting himself while talking. He wrapped up the interview in just 10 minutes! Can you believe it?
I failed to answer his third question. Although he didn't specifically ask me to use Regex, I thought it would be best to use Regex to extract email addresses. I am not good with Regex but I gave it a try and failed. I told him that whenever such a need arises I mostly google and find the pattern for email addresses and then use the pattern in my code.
He was then like "Ok, Best of luck for your next interview. Bye Bye" and then he just hung up. I was speechless for a second. I mean how can you even decide if the candidate is best suited for a web scraping role if you don't even ask questions related to web scraping?
Please beware of such time wasters.

- After 10 days of the interview, she said that the technical manager wanted you to solve the problem in Scrapy.

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Please do not waste your time by attending the interview with this company
The whole process took ~30 days
Put in a lot of effort
So much mental pressure, and tension as there are no proper updates until we follow up multiple times
After putting in this much effort, HR came up with sorry, the client said that this position is kept on hold
The decision changed within a day
Very bad experience with HR and the company.
The interviewer was good.
What if a candidate does the same to the company?
They would have threatened you that, I'll block you... I'll spread bad regarding you.
For HR or a company, it's just a number, but for a candidate, it's a very important thing.
For these interviews, I missed or avoided many other company's interviews.
After 7 -10 days I got calls from 3 HR people for the same position and the comapny
They promised me that they will help me out regarding the genuine reason to hold my profile
One of them helped me with the reason that the CTO didn't approve the CTC part. But the HR who has been following up with me told that the position itself is not available.
And told me that will help you in negotiation part and I never heard back from them though I have texted multiple times. They simply say I'll call you back, I'm busy whenever I try to reach out.
Is this the way the company treats candidates? Do they know how much pressure a candidate carries?
When a company sees moral and ethical values from a candidate why can't companies follow the same?
I felt very bad mentally.
SAY A BIG NO TO THIS COMPANY and DO NOT RESIGN YOUR CURRENT JOB BASED ON THIS COMPANY'S OFFER LETTER.
The whole thing was really a very very bad expense.
