Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - I had gone for an interview in this company called MDC Group of Companies in Ghatkopar East in Kanara Business Centre. The experience with this company was just PATHETHIC!!! First i got a call from their company Profile PAY PACKAGE and expectation everything was discussed on call. The HR guy named TITAUS on call told me if your interview goes good we will pay you good more than your expectation, So, the next day i went for the interview, they had called me at 3.00 P.M for interview. In first round they asked basic questions of Accounts and took a letter writing test and a computer efficiency test. All this got completed by 3.30. From 3.30 to 6.30 they made me wait for the final round with their Sir. In the final round their Sir after asking basic questions replied you already earn good that is Rs 23,000 per month and we cant match your pay package for the position you have applied that is SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE as thats a junior position and we dont pay so much to junior staff.We pay 30k-40k but to Senior Staff. I have 8yrs of experience in Accounts still i was a junior staff for him like a fresher which was the most irritating thing to hear. Their HR already knew my pay package still 3hrs wasted. After 2 days i again got a message from them you have to come down for your Salary Discussion. I went for a Salary discussion with them thinking that after internal discussion they must have taught of matching my package and will give me a good hike. Even for salary discussion they made me wait for 45-50mins.Once the discussion started to my suprise they were offering me salary below my current package. The salary offered by them was 15k. On asking them that I already earn 23k why would i come on a lower budget,their senior HR is replying me I know you earn 23k but as per our discussion we had informed you we cant pay that much our quote is only 15k for your position . Like really when you guys know that your budget is not that much how can you call that person for salary discussion and waste their time again and again, that was the most Dumb thing done by them.I feel the HR is given a target by their boss and to show him the figures that we have called so many people for interview they are calling people and taking interviews and wasting candidate time. And one more thing if you join their company you have to switch off your cell phones and keep in the box outside,you cant use it in office hours,youll get your phone only once you leave the office. So guyss joining is a different thing all together,i would suggest dont even go for interview to this copmany. They will just waste your time by making you wait and acting Dumb in the end.
