I applied via Campus Placement and was interviewed in Nov 2024. There were 3 interview rounds.
The hardest round I have experienced during interviews was ultimately successful, as I was selected. Only a few questions were multiple-choice; the rest required one-word or numerical answers to be written manually. Pay special attention to the last portion, as it was a scoring section containing standard technical questions. However, as we begin the assessment, the majority of the time is consumed by reasoning, arithmetic, and similar topics. In summary, I can say that the initial part is the toughest.

Shear force and Bending Moment Diagrams are graphical representations of the internal forces acting on a beam.
Shear force diagram shows the variation of shear force along the length of a beam.
Bending moment diagram shows the variation of bending moment along the length of a beam.
Shear force is the force that acts parallel to the cross-section of the beam, while bending moment is the moment that causes bending of the be...
Rankine Cycle is a thermodynamic cycle used in steam power plants to generate electricity.
Rankine Cycle consists of four main components: a boiler, turbine, condenser, and pump.
The cycle starts with the boiler where water is heated to produce high-pressure steam.
The high-pressure steam then enters the turbine, where it expands and produces mechanical work.
After exiting the turbine, the steam enters the condenser where ...

Triggers in SQL are special stored procedures that are automatically executed when certain events occur in a database.
Triggers can be used to enforce business rules, maintain referential integrity, and audit changes to data.
Examples of triggers include BEFORE INSERT, AFTER UPDATE, and INSTEAD OF DELETE.
Triggers can be defined at the table level and can be set to execute before or after an event.
I applied via Walk-in and was interviewed in Jan 2024. There were 2 interview rounds.

Pump is used to move fluid from one place to another, while turbine converts fluid energy into mechanical energy.
Pump increases the pressure of a fluid and moves it from one location to another.
Turbine converts the kinetic energy of a moving fluid into mechanical energy.
Pumps are commonly used in industries for fluid transfer, while turbines are used in power generation.
Examples of pumps include centrifugal pumps and d...

Power is the rate at which work is done or energy is transferred. A power plant converts fuel into electrical energy.
Power is measured in watts or kilowatts.
A power plant works by converting fuel into heat, which is then used to generate steam to turn a turbine and produce electricity.
There are different types of power plants such as coal-fired, nuclear, hydroelectric, and renewable energy plants.
Power factor is the ra...
The power triangle is a graphical representation of the relationship between real power, reactive power, and apparent power in an AC circuit.
Real power is represented by the horizontal leg of the triangle.
Reactive power is represented by the vertical leg of the triangle.
Apparent power is represented by the hypotenuse of the triangle.
The angle between the horizontal leg and the hypotenuse is the power factor angle.
The p...
Phase angle is the difference in phase between two waveforms.
Phase angle is measured in degrees or radians.
It is used to describe the relationship between two waveforms.
It is important in fields such as electrical engineering and physics.
For example, in AC circuits, the phase angle between voltage and current determines the power factor.
Calculate total power consumption given a problem
Determine the power consumption of each device
Add up the power consumption of all devices
Consider the time period over which power is consumed
Account for any inefficiencies or losses in the system
