Round 2 - Assignment 

(1) Selection on the basis of statement of purpose of joining PhD.
(2) Previous qualification (degrees) percentages.
(3) Gate score for PhD in Engineering fields (Not Mandatory for admission after the M.Tech)
(4) I filled all above details in the application form.
(5) I described my research interest which was recent research area. (This was the most important thing in my application form)

Output : Selected on the basis of previous good colleges and good percentages and described my interest in recent research area.

Round 3 - Technical 

(2 Questions)

  • Q1. (1) It was not an interview. It was written test. There are 4 main research areas (Solid mechanics and design, fluid and thermal sciences, manufacturing sciences, robotics and automation) in the IIT Kanpur...

During the interview, I discussed my resume, internship experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Prisma ORM, and machine learning models like Random Forest Regression. I also explained my problem-solving approach and adaptability to new technologies. I was one of the five students selected, and it was a great learning experience.
