This was the pathetic part. I was being interviewed for a Program Manager role, but got an assignment of a curriculum developer / instructional designer.
Later I came to know that they were trying to test my report writing skills by assigning me to work on lesson plans and student activities. You get the drill?
In the process, I also came to know that the hiring manager did a lousy job in assigning the pre-work and allotted me a project which was actually supposed to be done by freelance curriculum designers, but since the timeline was tight, it was given to me in the name of a pre-work for a Program Manager.
Post that, the communication with the team also was very erratic. I also came to know that the CEO wasn't aware that I was being interviewed for the Program Manager role.
Too many instances to give a benefit of doubt.
By all means, avoid applying at this organisation. If their interview process is so erratic and unreliable. Working with the org might be a nightmare!
