Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: At the very start of the placement procedure, they asked us to fill out a form which had some personal question about the candidate. This form was to be submitted along with the resume.

Round: Test
Experience: After the GD there was a written test for the shortlisted candidates. The written test had questions which were from verbal reasoning, quantitative aptitude and core topics like accounts and economics. They also asked 10 questions on MS Excel and an email was asked to be written by all the candidates (this was like a typing exercise).

Round: HR Interview
Experience: After this there were two rounds of interviews. The questions were HR based as well related to core field of accounts, economics etc. Some of the HR questions asked were:
Questions about myself, my strengths and weaknesses, my views on working on weekends, relocation, frequent travelling and working in rural areas.
They also asked me about my family and also discussed my college life/experience for around 10 minutes.
Post that there were some resume based questions. After this they asked many questions from my core field. These were related to accounting standards like AS-9, cash flow, BRS (bank reconciliation statement), depreciation, ledger books, journal entries for specific cases etc. I was also asked about the requirements while auditing a table and types of auditing reports.
