Q1. What is Nutritional Label and why to do it
A nutritional label is a list of information about the nutritional content of a food product, including calories, fats, sugars, and vitamins.
Provides information on serving size and number of servings per container
Lists the amount of calories, fats, sugars, proteins, and other nutrients per serving
Helps consumers make informed decisions about their dietary choices
Required by law on most packaged food products
Example: A nutritional label on a box of cereal will show the amount...read more
Q2. What is Biological Oxygen Demand
Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) is a measure of the amount of dissolved oxygen needed by aerobic biological organisms to break down organic material present in a water sample.
BOD is used as an indicator of the organic quality of water.
High BOD levels indicate high levels of organic pollution in water bodies.
BOD is measured over a specific period of time, usually 5 days (BOD5).
It is an important parameter in assessing the health of aquatic ecosystems.
Q3. What is the range of pH scale?
The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14, with 7 being neutral, below 7 acidic, and above 7 alkaline.
pH scale ranges from 0 to 14
7 is considered neutral on the pH scale
Below 7 is acidic, above 7 is alkaline
Examples: Lemon juice has a pH of around 2, pure water has a pH of 7, and baking soda has a pH of around 9
Q4. What kind of sample preparation are you doing and how many samples are you doing per day
I am currently performing sample preparation by extracting DNA from blood samples and processing around 20 samples per day.
Performing DNA extraction from blood samples
Processing approximately 20 samples per day
Utilizing various techniques such as PCR and gel electrophoresis
Q5. What substance are acids?
Acids are substances that have a pH level lower than 7, taste sour, and can react with metals to produce hydrogen gas.
Acids have a pH level lower than 7
Acids taste sour
Acids can react with metals to produce hydrogen gas
Q6. What is ratio of ppm?
ppm stands for parts per million, a unit of measurement used to express very small concentrations of substances in a mixture.
ppm is a unit of measurement used to represent the ratio of one part of a substance to one million parts of a mixture.
It is commonly used in fields such as chemistry, environmental science, and engineering to express very small concentrations of substances.
For example, if a water sample contains 5 ppm of a certain chemical, it means there are 5 parts of...read more
Q7. What kinds of heavy metals you know

Lead
Mercury
Cadmium
Arsenic
Chromium
Q8. Functional group, compound structure and name , it's molecular weight,
Functional group, compound structure, name, and molecular weight are key aspects of organic chemistry.
Functional group: Determines the chemical properties of a compound.
Compound structure: Shows how atoms are arranged in a molecule.
Name: Identifies the compound based on its structure and functional groups.
Molecular weight: Sum of the atomic weights of all atoms in a molecule.
