Exam will be conducted with two written papers , paper 1 and paper 2 . After clearing paper 1 you will get call for physical test and medical test .
Physical test conducted with
1600 m race - time 6:30 min
100 m race - 16 min
Long jump - 3m 10 feet
High jump - 1.2 m
Shot put throw -
After clearing pet you will get call for medical examination
Before clearing pet and medical , you will have to appear on paper 2 contains 200 mark English paper which is beneficial for getting highest marks to get the department of your choice .

The structure and significance of army is such that we can't deploy army at borders as deploying an active force in border area is considered as act of war Hence we need a force which has sufficient power to deal and curtail the aggression of the border and also act in coordination with state police for local issue resolvment with army during war like situation CAPF fulfils all the criteria of being a peace keeping
