My SQL and Python technical round is in 3 days and I need a list of important topics to practice for Python. I have worked on NumPy and Pandas libraries at my current workplace. Need an exhaustive list of topics that you guys have been asked in DA/BA role interviews.

Experience: Aptitude was easy. It contained basics of Quants & Logic . Verbal or English part was bit difficult and length. There was a sectional time and sectional cut off.

Round: Test
Experience: Basic aptitude questions with some application based questions which do not require any calculation. Second section tests the verbal ability of the student with few grammar based questions and few word analogy related.
Tips: Good practice of basic aptitude questions covering most of the topics and critical reasoning questions without using pen and paper will help a lot.If you are a voracious reader you need not worry for verbal section but if you hardly read then start reading from now and develop a habit.

Experience: Deloitte selection procedure involves a written test which is
same as CAT format (certainly not that tough). Though I had not joined any test series to prepare for it, but I must strongly recommend that you should actually join a test series (provided by Career Launcher or
TIME). This test series will actually help you to synchronize your mind to the format and moreover it would help to refresh the question solving skills which you used to exercise while preparing for JEE.
Round: Group Discussion
Experience: general topic is given (mostly it is as to how you would go for implementing a new type of technology in a company, and hence you all have to decide the stepwise procedure for the implementation), then whole of the group is called in presentation room where each one is told personally to speak about the same topic as that of GD. This constitutes
second round. Finally, if you clear it, you get to face the interviews.
Tips: From now onwards, start reading newspaper daily. Just give at least one hour reading the editorials from newspaper and make it your habit. Not only for GD's, but for life in general, its very important that you should have a certain view about things happening around you and in the world and newspapers are the best thing which help you form your views and also know about the expert opinions on day to day topics. So, make sure that you read newspaper daily.

I would advise that in order to gain more confidence at speaking, you should start taking challenges from now on and should actively participate in any sort of debates and GD.

Tips: One should be thorough with the basics of english, and quantitative ability. Reasoning section needed a lot of practice so as to save time.

Experience: I had a very good experience answering the aforementioned questions as i was confident in all my answers. i did not have a thorough knowledge of c language, So i told the interviewer that i am not adept with programming but i can still try. Tips: Always speak the truth whether you know a particular subject or not. This helps the interviewer form an overall idea about you.Put forward your views in a soft and gentle but assertive tone.

Experience: The aptitude test basically consisted of questions from Data Structures and some other simple algorithms and also on Object Oriented Analysis. The aptitude test was tricky (having negative markings +2/-1 scheme). To cross this test speed and skill are essential.
The next test was a coding exams there were three questions
1) Given a linked list, link the odd nodes followed by the even nodes in place.
2) Given a dictionary of words find words that are anagrams of each other.
3) Given a binary tree and a node print that node's path from root.
Duration: 95 minutes

Interview 1 - This interview was basically DS based interview and certain concepts of networking were touched. I
told them that i am interested in data structures and cryptography so most of the questions came from those areas only.
Interview 2 - Was again technical. The interviewer asked me on Data Structures and a Dynamic Programming problem and some other puzzles to solve.
Interview 3 - This was technical but they evaluated the design skills. Asked me on ER diagrams, class diagrams and
database design and system design and some basic questions from OS.
Interview 4 - This was also a technical interview mainly on problem solving and DS design (how would you design a DS to handle this situation and so on).
Round: HR Interview
Experience: There was no HR interview as such. They were asking questions in tech interviews such as tell me about yourself and so on.

General Tips: Interview question was mainly to gauge my knowledge about insurance sector. I had little idea about the sector but a little research prior to the interview helps. When you are over with the gd/ hr interview and you think there is a good chance of clearing it then make sure u get some knowledge about sector and the company .Read about the sector well and the company as well.
