Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - There were four rounds of interviews, starting with one hour behavioural around, writing sample, case study and final interview for cultural fit. The overall recruitment process is very disorganised as I applied for this role in October before Diwali and the HR got back to me in November end. It's almost as of September 2024 they have this position open and cannot fill it up I had qualified until the case study round which was a very negative experience overall the interviewer was from a senior position. This round requires you to have business acumen and use the RCA technique to perform well enough. It seems to me that the expectations are unreasonably high for a fresher level role and they want someone who is a jack of all trades and they don't have to provide the necessary training once the person joins. Worst, they called their recruitment process a very high standard as an excuse but this is a very wrong culture, especially for freshers starting their career as they're looking for highly technical skills. My writing sample and behaviour round went super well but the ultimate deciding factor for them was the case study round. I think it just shows how rigid they are and how they willingly ignore my other capabilities and stuck on that one round to make a decision. Would have been better if they just took the case stud round first if they were so specific on that skill set instead of wasting my time. The interviewer for the case study round was very rude and over confident on his skills and expertise that he wasn't willing to fully listen to me or let me complete my answer it felt like he already knew he didn't find me a fit. Gartner could be a good organisation overall but I think individuals in this company such as the one interviewing for this role is not doing any justice to the good reputation.
