Simpl, the Bengaluru-based BNPL startup, just laid off 30 more employees after previously firing 160 executives. Senior leaders Vatsal Jain, Ashwini Ravindranath, and Ramkumar Narayanan have also resigned.
Earlier in April, Simpl let go 25% of its workforce.
What's going on there? Is the future of BNPL at risk? 🤔

Simpl in Crisis?
Heard that they are burning a lot in funding discounts on D2C websites they work with to retain them. BNPL is also not doing too well.
IMO Simpl needs to get on Swiggy , Amazon , Flipkart , Ola Cabs Asap .
A Good product and use case makes payments journey shorter will help you out in times of cash crunch month end days before salary drops .
It's basically free money just take it and don't return it they can't even do anything if lots of us do it company can go bust in a day .
