Dislikes

Salary not as per industry standards. Even the hikes are average. They are not giving any domestic transfers. Post a certain period of time, there is no learning.

Work Culture - Counterintuitive to what people say, my team had a pathetic work culture. There was bias, favourism and despite performing good and fulfilling all the tasks for the day my consultant consistently pointed extra things that i didn't do. My efforts and work were not values. I was made to feel under valued to a point that i started doubting myself because of the people around me when all they (AC, C) do is make MoMs, draft diplomatic emails and make Ppts. I was harassed to a point that they put me on a PIP plan for having poor Problem Solving when i single handedly created error free workbooks containing complicated methodologies. Work Life Balance- Even if you have excellent time and task management skills, you will be working for 12-1 AM in the night consistently because of factors that are beyond your control. There will be unnecessary internal checkin/harassing calls, evening Onshore connects (onshore doesn't know what we are doing, they just join for an update that we could provide in one line over message/mail) Pathetic work- On top of the 12-14 hours work days you will be doing work that is not Analytical + is repetitive + unnecessary. Simple work is glorified and hyped up internally and in client calls. For eg. I created a workbook where we just took the average of last 13 weeks to compare with current week and they named it 'Run Rate Workbook' and glorified it in mails/ client calls. Going over and beyond - A pretty disturbing and uncomfortable concept in ZS where you are expected to do 2-3 times of work than required in the projects. You have to build teamwork, build expertise, develop reputation in the team and God knows what. Simply put in 80k per month they will suck the life out of you. YOU WILL HAVE NO LIFE AT ALL. You will be so tired on weekends that all you would want to do is rest, no wonder that out of 15k Zoom accounts 5k are deactivated and there are 10k employees showing that their attrition is over the place. Good work is not valued- if you have great technical skills like i had in SQL and Excel, it's not valued here. The things that are valued include using fancy words on client calls, using Jargons, networking, alcohol parties etc. Peer pressure to attend team bonding alcohol parties - I attended 1 party and i was feeling uncomfortable and standing in a corner as i don't drink and smoke and was there to have food and leave. My consultant came up to me and started asking me to drink and when i declined, his reaction wasn't polite at all. I can write about 10000 more things that i donot like about ZS but i think you will have a fair bit of idea about things around here from my points above. All things sumup, the ideal candidate here should drink, should be interested in talks/glorifying simple things, comfortable using Jargons, doesn't want to do real work, doesn't have a personal life, ready to work till 12 in the night

There is nothing l dislike in ZS but a bit complication in working hours and work life balance. But when we understand the process and learn the work well, we can manage it
