The work life balance is decent for my team, but other teams stretch far beyond office hours. It truly depends on the manager and how you draw boundaries. The knowledge gain is also good and transferable.

Dislikes

The annual salary tends to be half of the industry standard for my post. There are no annual statutory bonuses. The rewards and recognitions are also low at 290 points (roughly 500 rupees) on average once a year or so. The salary hike per actuarial exam cleared is also low at 36k-72k for the CT series and 50k for CP2 and CP3. The hike is 1 lakh for the higher papers.

No proper documentation of works, problems are not resolved if complaint made, low pay than market if not joined through campus hiring, more work expected for the pay they give and promotions and salary hike are not given properly. The skills of employees not put to good use.

Gave me salary though I was non productive for some time.

Dislikes

Did not provide WFH at the right time(systems were only rolled out a day before the lockdown started), asking employees to return to the base location and work, no cooperation for allocation of systems for WFH. There is a lot of office politics too and systems are sent via courier to some employees and some are asked to return to base location to work, both being in the same designation. A two years bond and a notice period of 3 months adds to all of it.

Clients support you if you have any issues

Dislikes

Plz do not join this company, very pathetic management, starting from HR team to every other department they are not supportive at all, During the salary discussion the HR will downgrade your salary and if you protest they taunt you. If you join certain team, the VP are really horrible, you need to work 9 hours plus additional 6 hours because VP asked the Team to work, There are hardly few projects which has managers who support you and help you, most of the other departments are all the same, internal politics, no work life balance, no hike, no appraisal, review discussion are a joke here.
