We are suddenly forced to comeback to office location to work from office. With less salary its not possible to survive in big cities. All the time they will ask you when you are coming back to office.

...yees who are working day and ni8..no balance lie..they just suck a life from u..and they will never pay u..and they don't know what is appraisal for. and what is career growth wipro management don't know that term.

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable, high-quality products and has a global client base. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds, and we work happily in collaboration. I also like the employee re-hire policy here.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals’ unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes.

The company is good when comes to ODC(Offshore development centre ) and the related infrastructure( i.e. related to recreational activities) . Recently, company has introduced work from home option( i.e. once in a week) which is an excellent.

Dislikes

To dislike , there are many things but i would like to list only one point which i dislike the most , which is the salary/appraisal part. Currently, the salary/appraisal is very poor in Wipro i.e. in two consecutive appraisal cycle its only been single digit appraisal and more over person who is working for more years in Wipro will get less salary compared to a new recruit for the same experience or less . basically there is no band/salary normalisation.

The salary was always on time. Both my team leaders were great. However if anybody is looking for night shifts then this company is great. They don't offer day shift job even if they tell you they would transfer you to day shift routine.

They say that it wipro has both day and night shift jobs bug it's not true. They only have night shift jobs because of UK USA processes
