The Job is secure, however the work culture is quite awful since the most of the work and target is dumped on the employee who shows initiative. The HR policies are improving but but are still not employee friendly. The employees didn't receive a single penny during the COVID pandemic even though we worked during the entire lock down period.

Dislikes

...umped on the Branch Head or on anyone the organisation acknowledges as talented. Employees who aren't willing to work are posted accordingly in less sensitive areas but they draw the same salary. Staff shortage is again a big issue. We have no work life balance and even called to office on holidays to attend office.

Uco Bank is a great place to work and the bank management is also good. Work-life balance is also good. Promotional policy is also great.

Dislikes

...arious camps are organised in holidays. It destroys the morale of the employees. Salary and perks are not upto mark being a Govt Bank.

...not a work place which can be considered as a idle. Its a mixture of everything. Only positive thing is that u will get ur salary irrespective of your productivity.

... not rewarded. Locations of offices are terrible with no real scope of business. Quantum of work in relation to pay is high. Wont recommended to join.

It is a small bank and hence it's easy to get noticed. Good work is appreciated

Dislikes

Whether you work efficiently or don't, you get the same salary and same opportunities. Good performers don't get extra rewards, hence no motivation. Also it is very easy to bend rules.
