3-4 years back the situation in MSat/TechM was beginning to worsen after the Satyam takeover by TechM. During that time, trainings and infrastructure were the only positives I could think of. Of course, Satyam's infrastructure was a freebie obtained after the takeover.Job security and all other things you could think of was beginning to worsen in Mahindra Satyam after the confirmed takeover. I think now the situation is worse off compared to its peers. Enough has been shown in the social/print/digital media on the retrenchments in the worst possible way. For me, joining TechM was a negative, though I do credit MSat (not TechM) for what I learnt on the job there for 2+ years.

Dislikes

Salary increments are peanuts and appraisals are not reliable. Job security is nil and there is no balance in work-life balance. Infrastructure is good but that is expected from any IT service provider nowadays. Work Culture depends on which state/ country the company is situated because ultimately its the people/employees who create the culture. From the area I operated (Hyd), there was politics involved in patches but there were also people who recognized your work. So, employees shape up the culture. Career growth again depends on your manager and other people factors. Personally, I felt it was not at all a transparent system where career growth/ culture gets influenced by people and not the work you perform. So, its a big let down there. Overall, TechM is way far off from Satyam of yesteryears.

There r a lots of things to learn & grow internally, a platform of equal opportunity. An ample of support will get if you r a hard working person.

... you will have to give atleast 12 hrs in a day to accomplish the assigned work. No hike in salary for internal promoted people.

Dislikes

Incorrect management lacking decision making and no proper processes at airoli location. Team Leaders across all LOB's are incapable. Senior management is nice but are deaf towards grief about TL.

Nothing.. don't get paid the promised salary. Very bad management. LOPs marked even for the days we have worked and the issue is never resolved even after approaching higher management. DO NOT JOIN. Especially Amazon process

> Less Salary but more work, > Getting almost equal salaries for all the positions. There is no difference in Associate, SME, Team lead or Quality Analyst. > Politics at the time of IJPs and others. > No recognition for employees.
