1. dont expect to get a good salary hike in your career. 2. mostly support project. even if it is development project, 80% chances are that tech stack is very old. 3. basically this company dot not suite for freshers. it is good for experienced people. my suggestion is to join TCS in manager role, after gaining atleast 10 years exp. and take posting in your home branch. then enjoy.

Importantly the health insurance is best part in TCS followed by Job security and work life balance.

No recognition, no growth, no opportunities and we have to forget about the salary hike. Management biased rating and promotion.

Likes

Collegues, and company cultyre of TCS should be the benchmark in IT sector. And there is always to learn something, from collegues, management, or by ourselves. Job security is excellent.

Dislikes

Salary and benefits doesn't do any good, as per industry standards. Appraisals and peomotions also at mercy of managers only.

It has low work load due to enough support staff and job is secure as TCS will never ask to leave unless there is a major policy violation.

...ment is near impossible. Promotion will be heard rarely. Lots of hidden charges. And the most important, you will never get salary given in offer letter, it will be short by around atleast 2 LPA or more than that only.

Work life balance is good but again its depends on the project.

1. There are no other benefits apart from salary 2. 5 days WFO failing which they deduct in the quarterly performance pay. 3. Salary Hike is for name sake you will end up getting 30 to 35k per year for highest band. 4. No technical growth. Here most of the projects are like support kind of thing so there is no technical growth. 5. Apart from job security there are no other benefits
