Worst policies, I have joined TCS for the name sake and compromised on desired salary as well. After 8 months of joining. One of HR called me you have put resign or we will terminate you. because your some documents are not marching with their policies. TCS have hired some BGC companies to verify documents and then they get to know after 8 months. They have spoiled my career of 7 years. Now, I am looking for a job. I will never ever recommend to work TATA group. ( I have confirmed with some of TCS contacts, they have also got fired after some months joining.)

Good work culture ( if one does not want to work ). One can spend complete career without working. One can deny work by telling lack of bandwidth or lack of experience. TCS has tie up with most training platforms so one learn a lot. If you have good relation with seniors then chances are there for onsite oppurtunity.

Dislikes

No appreciation for project work completion and hardly any promotion or salary hike. Every project manager amd partner will give a ladoo of onsite oppurtunity to everyone in the project to motivate as they are helpless due to low pay and low yearly appreciation of associates. TCS is mostly concentrated on AMS and BAU projects so chances are less to get a role in consulting or implementation project. ( its mostly like tata customer service) No mapping of career aspiration, skillset or education qualification. Senior are mostly concerned about incoming revenue and will tag to any project as long as revenue from client is coming. Getting out of project one does not like is very difficult without proper connection or if the project does not finish. No proper training before onboading, Partners try to skill associates on clients resources after onboarding to save money.

Mindset - No growth mindset, cheap policies to save money from every corner, don't provide any good facilities office or any tech related infra. No concern about employee well being and top management lacks leadership qualities big time.

Work culture at TCS was pretty good for me a lot less stressful with all facilities available inside campus.

Growth is slow in terms of salary and learning. Sometimes you may excellent project opportunities for growth but chances of getting such projects is very low

Allocation based work culture Bench culture of working Service scope of work Paying less variable pay from actual,only 40% max we can get Even if we perform and score 4.5 out of 5,we get band "C" If we score "A" band also max hike is 5% Promotion once in 5yrs Hard to touch with HR, we couldn't find them as easy. No proper work space, chairs also not so good. Transport by means of non AC bus with costed from our salary. Except water all things we need to pay
