And we learn not just skills, but a lot more about juggling life, planning a career ahead and corporate skills. TCS gives ample scope for that learning, and is very forgiving to the mistakes we make. So I personally think beginning your career in TCS takes you a long way.

Salary is less compared to other companies, work life balance might take a toss if you don't speak up for yourself. Appraisals are pretty much same irrespective of what you do.

Salary hikes 4-7 percent, very poor for freshers No proper communication between managers on skill development, resource satisfaction etc. Please dont join in your early IT career

Very less Salary Hikes, and use less Work from office call to employees, where even in office they have to work on their laptops,. So just for using the TCS internet, we are being asked to get back to Office. total waste of time, Money, and also contribution to carbon emmission

TCS is good for freshers and juniors. its running on brand name thats it.

compensation is pathetic. year on year raise in compensation is very horrible. huge variable pay and its not paid above c2 level associates.

...ee, senior management takes advantage of this and just work for status meetings. There is no reward for talented folks, not getting enough salary and there is no meaning of appraisal process.
