I'll be honest, TCS has a huge brand recognition for being one of the most popular employers. I enjoyed my time with TCS alot. Be it job security or work culture, TCS ensures their employees have a good time while working. Management is helpful and will motivate you to learn and up-skill yourself.

Dislikes

The salary structure is a bit weird, especially for non tech candidates. You'll feel like, why am I still working in this organisation, if I am not getting paid properly. Yearly increment is also ridiculous. You might have to pay rent, which increases by 10% yearly. But you won't be able to cover that, as your salary increment is poor.

The best thing about TCS is job security. They won't sack you untill you make a blunder(This may be vary project wise)

There are some politics, which is natural in every corporate world. Salary is decent though not of much expectation, also the growth is slow.

there ae no layoffs in TCS and will hopefully never happen. There is never too much work hence there is a god work-life balance.

salary s too low and even the annual hikes are at a very low growth rate. getting promoted for people is very random instead of being time-based or merit based.

You'll be forever guaranteed with a job, only If you perform well, learn your job and do your work, communicate with your team leads, team mates. simple 9-5 job.

Yes. Forever In that loophole with 0 salary increments. I've been here more than 2 years, still 2k improvment in my salary , while my friends were having double the salary they started. No promotions, Not going anywhere with this job.

VARIABLE pay is SCAM, company pays only 25 to 40 percent of that amount. Extended working hours with not benifits. Incompetent management. Poor annual increment.
