1. No anniversary appraisal pay raise. Annual Appraisal cycle is April to April and criteria for annual appraisal is 1 year. So, if you join in May 2025, your first appraisal with pay hike will be in April 2027, as you won't be completing 1 year in April 2026!!! 2. No approvals for external certifications 3. Compulsory wfo even if client approves wfh. 4. If you are joining with grade C3A and above, you will only receive 20-30% of monthly and quarterly performance pay.

On time salary and flexible working hours.

Dislikes

Poor management in projects, Use of productivity tracking tools(project dependent), lack of collaboration within teams resulting in uninteresting working space.

Depends on account and Manager, how good your relation is with them.

Incase if you get low rating, please forget your whole Variable Pay for whole year. Presently TCS in not considered as work life would be good.

Job security would be one of the top reasons of joining TCS. Work life balance is also good compared to the market.

Dislikes

Salary and promotion process being one of the worst metrics on being a part of the TCS family. If you would like to join TCS, consider it in a phase where you would settle down here with a good package as retirement plan, don't join it early in your career because progressing here will make you old.
