Apart from health insurance and job security nothing is better.The highest satisfaction factor of a employee is salary which TCS doesn't care about.They have decreased the salary increment given in all promotion almost half . Not at all good for freshers.

I joined TCS as fresher and fortunately landed in Embedded Automotive Services. Every year I had opportunity to learn new standard or explore new technology through various projects. My project had rotation of roles in the team which helped everyone become cross functional. TCS has the best Health Insurance Policy. 100% job security. Overall satisfaction of being associated with the TATA

Confused about Salary negotiations

CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?
