Late promotions, low salary, less appraisals increment rate, no future if you wanna stay in it. Better option is to come late to TCS after getting 30LPA salary and stay in it by doing nothing

As said by many, TCS do provide job security.

Please do not join TCS as a fresher, if you're willing to grow in your career. No proper salary hikes. Same work will be given again and again. Higher management people are no where supportive. They will never consider your inputs in the projects. If you ever get into any 24/7, then you're ruined for life. Your TL who gives you instructions has 0% knowledge on what is happening in project. You can opt for TCS, only if you're willing to get retired by buttering your managers. There is no space for personal opinions here.

job security is the best part here. company culture and ethics are also greatbecause it TATA. Most of the government project and national level projects are likely to coming here. Depending on the type of project you are getting your life and experience will be super good or super bad.

very less pay scale and growth. even appraisals are given in penneies. if it is your first job, then you will be stuck at the same salary bracket for a very long time and andit's very difficult to get digital or innovator profiles being in a project which require too much effort from your side,and occasionally they keep changing the rooms and conditions also.

...only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words. Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies. Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews. In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary. In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS. Also, Somebody, once joined TCS at early stage feels incompetent to the job market.
