... is stagnant at TCS. Nobody cares about your career. It is filled with politics. Good for people who want average salary and stable work life. I would never recommend for People who have aspirations and goals for their career and believe in personal and professional growth.

...of management making employees suffocate if they tried to maintain a boundary. No salary growth. Hardly 5 to 6% growth in one year. They don't give opportunities unless they get some benefits out of you. Or management will leave you to feel stagnant and useless and you yourself quit .

Work Life Balance when no task. Work individually but compared with 1k - 2k individuals at the time of appraisal 3 months notice period is less, it should be 1 year so that the attrition rate will become 0.

Dislikes

...rables are there. No Promotion even you work 20 hrs and delivering good results. No Hike, Freshers should not consider joining this. Come after 10-12 years of experience and enjoy your life by creating problems to juniors. No specific working days, if you have task you have to work because after this you will be considered for appraisal 😉

It is a very good company for students of any stream who wanted to work and didn't got admission to tier 1 colleges, because it provides a great platform for unskilled freshers to get into TCS and learn skill and improve their knowledge which will always help them to boost their career as they switch jobs in future.

Nothing is bad about TCS. Just you need to understand the intention of the organisation, that it is not about good salary but to skill and unskilled person who doesn't get job anywhere else because of his knowledge. And In TCS he/she can get that Knowledge and may excel in their future Job.

You don't get paid as per work or designation. No work life balance. Only expected to work round the clock. No benifit like bonus etc.

It has low work load due to enough support staff and job is secure as TCS will never ask to leave unless there is a major policy violation.

Dislikes

...ment is near impossible. Promotion will be heard rarely. Lots of hidden charges. And the most important, you will never get salary given in offer letter, it will be short by around atleast 2 LPA or more than that only.
