You get your salary on time, mediclaim, canteens, library, office location (Thane) were good, some good & knowledgeable colleagues if you're lucky.

Salary increments / appraisals sucks, their intranet (ultimatix), sometime you'll are doing login only before doing any actual work, don't know when SSO will be implemented which keeps you logged in atleast for entire day. Lot of restrictions on surfing net. I left tcs because some manager doesn't care about employees aspirations. I was promised for onsite position, by the time I got my Visa, my manager changed. He immediately called me & said position is not available now and you've to wait for this year and we can look for onsite position next year. I don't know why they file visa in first place if don't have positions. Its waste of money of TCS as well as it was mental harassment. I escalated issue with upper management to release me from project, they just wasted time so that visa gets expired and I am no longer in position to travel. They play such politics and HR also takes side of management when you raise your concerns in tcs grievance portal. TCS tagline : 'Experience Certainty', its actually opposite of it. Some managers will get their work done, but it comes to fullfilling their promise, they don't. they don't know any ethics, they don't keep their word. Be careful when you trust.

Job security and work life balance is great. I have mostly good experience with team members and managers. Lots of learning opportunities

Very low salary and hikes. High work load. Rude behaviour from manager and lead. Legacy tech and application. Bad company culture and policies. Manager does not allow emoloyees to participate in any celebration. Manager Assign multiple works and expect us to multi task -Raise voice at us and mentally harass us -The friday weekly meeting is like a horrible nightmare -Donot respect each other and see us as a 'resource' -Always contemptous towars others -Will not participate in any celebrations -Every body is afraid to ask him doubt or even talk to him -Sits near ODC door and watches when everybody come and leaves offices -Doesnt like any noise in ODC even mobile ringing -The phone ring from his office phone gives a mild heart attack -Doesnot appreciate good works -People from his team has no time to participate in other cultural activities - HR is affraid to talk to him -Doesnot like persons from hr/admin speak in his ODC. When they comes he leaves odc -Closely follow up work and ask status frequently -even status is asked in rest room urinals

The pay and appraisal is very less(lesser than inflation), they deduct extra salary in the name of health insurance, more deductions in quarterly bonus even when company show profitability. There is no learning and no improvement in skillsets and any good ideas are just pushed down without even discussing. One major issue that was faced by me was regionalism (specifically by Tamil seniors) where they gave high ratings to tamils even when the work was not done by them in my team and other folks were not given justified ratings. When this concern was raised the seniors and even HR(who is supposed to help employees) started threatening about my job and my career.

... allocation of resources in multiple projects. - Frequent restructuring of team - Salary Structure is horrible, you'll have monthly variable pay as 'performance pay', quarterly variable as 'quarterly performance bonus' (70% is being paid for senior employee this year, 2023) & there is a Yearly variable too know as 'Retention Bonus' (it is around 1 lakh, which will be ONLY paid if you stay till financial year completion i.e. 31st March). This retention bonus is not just there in your 1st year of joining, you'll have it in subsequent years as well, if you plan to leave tcs, you'll not get this retention bonus for that year (imagine losing 1 Lac when your LWD falls in Jan or Feb). - Salary & hike are definitely below market standards. - Overall, it was suffocating & frustrating experience at least for me.
