Pros : Job security- 100% like you can be here till retirement. I have met people who are working in TCS for more than 25years who started as fresher. transport office you get opportunities to upgrade your career with WINGS assessment. basically it all depends on what project you get. i was in BPO projects so nothing so good/better in terms of growth/promotions.

...person POV: 1. please don't join as freshers- I was fooled by "tcs is like govt. job" but please have job experience & join cuz, package is not fair if you join right after non IT -degree. 2. as fresher you get into traineeship. Traineeship is for 1year in that you get 13K as stipend 3. Here people are working as per project/client needs not per TCS need which means you get to work under too much pressure & no one really cares how you feel. 3. Appraisals are totally biased. if you are in managers/TL's good books you get high/good ratings - meaning you do everything- like EVERYTHING to make them happy. 4. not only BPO, I have seen IT background people doing copy-paste job here. 5. there were new Gen-Zs joined the project with that :TCS is my Dream company, just to leave/abscond in 6 months saying it's just like School only difference is we getting paid(less). Overall, I see that all say TCS has lost its charm, because no ones really growing into career nor as a person, It creates that comfort zone because of job security. other than that everyone higherup is still following that "Work is life & life is work" motive, if you say work life balance it's like speaking in French with them. Please check out other companies to join if you are NON-IT person/BPO, don't join TCS if you don't want to be a well trained DONKEY.

Salary growth is very low as compared other bpo company for freshers and experience employees politics they think that we are the only boss

I likes about the TCS is good work culture, low work pressure, work-life balance, lots of opportunities to learn and the most job security.

It feels good working at TCS. The work culture is good, with low work pressure and lots to learn but the salary increament as per the seniority and role is low. If the salary is justified as per the seniority or designation, I would never left TCS.

Here you can work life balance and learn many things even company providing you multiple learning platform where you upskill your self

Dislikes

Here salary is low in compare to other equivalent MNC and incriminating is also low but other benefits like job security are great
