It is a reputed organisation and the largest public sector bank in India. The salary and perks are better as compared to other PSBs. There is job security.

Dislikes

Long sitting hours, lot of workload, seniors threatening to transfer/change posting, stress and pressure of completing targets, working on weekends and holidays. Huge customer base means a lot of customer dealing.

Job is secured. We get to serve all kind of customers. Employees get huge exposure in whichever field /segment they are working in, great medical benefit, loans at concessional rate.

Dislikes

Age old promotion policy, rigid system, salary is not as per industry standard, lack of proper training, late sitting is rewarded, no facility for working mothers, except for maternity leave, no wfh facility.

...BI is its HR section and due to this, the problems faced by employees get worse. Seniors often resort to verbal personal attacks, humiliate you publicly, decline your bills, stop your salary, etc. They make sure you are ostracized, from others. You are never granted leave. Asking for leave is like asking for parole as if you are incarcerated, and as with parole, your leaves are rejected. They will play mind games and they will stalk you, where you live, where you go, who you are talking to, whether you are leaving the place, and many more. Better not to work here, than get your confidence completely shattered. Hope it helps anybody reading.

Hi, I'm here to share a part of my journey from the past 12 years in my career, I started from a package of 3.6LPA in 2013 at iGate and due to a few bad decisions on my career and worthless advices from people who are always pessimistic about the industry, I switched two companies and landed in a start-up with 2.4LPA. I worked hard nearly 8-16hrs a day single handed researched, built and managed an entire vertical of a project for 8 years. When the company didn't value my contribution and thought I was too young to become a manager, I had a package of 6LPA and Senior developer in designation. I switched for obvious reasons to a TL role for 12LPA and now at the same company I'm a TPM on the basis of my contribution with 48LPA as a fixed component. I feel outclassed in terms of having a fancy CV with certifications, I feel like CTC has hit a peak with 48LPA being fixed and nearly 40% in Variable. Most companies are hesitant to hire me because of this. What should be my next move?
