I got a job
I received an offer letter from standard chartered. Which is a great step for me to start as an investment banker. However i don't know the pathway. I wanna reach the top level in investment banking. Any suggestions on that, and what are the key points i should remember while learning. And lastly my ctc is 3.4 LPA What can I do to make it 9 LPA in next 3 years

Nothing is there , OT is not given and week end allowance also not given…with minimal salary We have to work more the 12 hours , stress only we get Not salary… Hike Also very less…

Dislikes

The way few people communicates is bit off occassionally. All the facility scb provides is not as attractive as it appears. Technically there are no privileges as an employee of the Bank. They deal with you just like outsiders.

I feel work culture, management, pay structure are good, I had seen many instances like people left the scb are willing to return to scb, here work life balance also very satisfied, no annoying bosses. Flexible working hours.

Dislikes

Politics are there every where not only in scb, biased towards few colleges also there. One big dislike in my view is, parents insurance, they are not offering parents insurance, family includes parents as well.

I have worked 6 years and I have wasted my career. No proper recognition, salary perks and benefits. Management will not listen to employee concern and will not take any action.

Worst compensation. Bank is not good in its financial results. No work satisfaction here as this is a back end work for cost cutting

Bank treats ppl working here as cheap labour and mostly people are here for 15, 20 years. So we can expect bit lethargic for changes and its like government company. Now attrition rates are too high with pathetic compensations here
