They provides lots of opportunities internally to learn more. I believe compensation is decent.

Dislikes

The way few people communicates is bit off occassionally. All the facility scb provides is not as attractive as it appears. Technically there are no privileges as an employee of the Bank. They deal with you just like outsiders.

I have worked 6 years and I have wasted my career. No proper recognition, salary perks and benefits. Management will not listen to employee concern and will not take any action.

SCB provides lot of opportunities if a person show a great character and responsibilties. SCB gives regular training, opportunities and a good work environment so that one can balance work life with personal one.

Dislikes

SCB is not a good pay master and also growth rate is little slow depending that if anyone work for more than a 5yrs here

Can we change domain after 16 years of experience?

I'm working as a technical manager (Java based) in a global Bank having 16 years of experience, my whole career is with banking and financial services. Current CTC is 34LPA. Now I think to change my job to get more salary, i get very few calls for interview because of 3 months notice period, and few of them were from different domains ( health care, logistics etc.). Is it wise to change domain? Or better to look for internal jobs with the bank?
