Definitely not a good place for freshers. Politics plays a significant role. The problem is you won't get a chance to learn a single technology properly. I was working as a cybersecurity associate, I had previous bug bounty experience but haven't been given pen-testing roles just because of my base locations. They said people who work in a particular base location are assigned specific roles. During Intern, we are asked to choose roles in cybersecurity just for fun.No place for skill development.Even People with 3 experience and fresher are treated the same.People who join this role should understand the difference between cybersecurity and GRC, because this company does GRC in the name of cybersecurity.

Very less salary hike, they often try to find lame reason to pay you less, less promotion, irrelevant of the year of experience and your expertise of skills.

Great learning opportunities, strong brand name, diverse projects, smart colleagues, good career growth potential.

Dislikes

Long working hours - even on weekends, high pressure of project deadlines, work life balance goes for toss, compensation and hikes are not great, no team building activities.

Leaders are totally useless & inefficient when it comes to HR & admin Department. Shakir Iqbal, Pemanand, Karthi Palanikumar are pathetic employees and have no work ethics. Vikas Aggarwal - Director from the contingent Workforce management team is one the most incompetent leader I have seen. He regularly abuses his team & gives no growth. Should be fired immediately on compliance ground.

The likes and dislikes may vary based on the project you are in within each stream in PwC. I work in payments transformation in Advisory , here the work like balance is good and the team is supportive, for me.

Dislikes

... discussions are a bit frustrating since the hr wont budge to your negotiations. Hence the salary wont be what is expected when moving companies.
