New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. pnb doesn't provide any travel benifit, no learning as there is nothing new to learn, staff strength is very less, work-life is very pathetic. Overall very poor condition.

Dislikes

Frequent transfers to remote villages create hell lot of family problems and other problems as well. Banking sector has hell lot of corruption and you will feel very insecure if you are moral.

Govt. job even if you don't work you will get the same same salary as others.

Job security - Excellent

Dislikes

Lot of manipulation in promotions , if you have connections then only expect promotion. If you have taken a work no one will get involved in it and even if anything happens the same people will come to blame you.

decent salary and perks but still less than Central Governments employees

Job security - Excellent

Dislikes

Undue pressure is put on us for target completion with staff shortage. Apart from this we have to deal with throttling compliance policies which makes even simple work cumbersome and difficult. There are so many portals for complaints and we are always on our toes.
