...with different cast tend to get better exposure every time and in every project. Few years down the line you will question that why he/she is getting more salary than me when infact we are from same firm. Imagine happening this to you everyday. But don't expect fair pay even if you are stuck there the compensation is not at all commensurate with the amount of abuse you will endure. Feedback Overall, it is clear this company has no respect for its workers and only cares about exploiting them. Save yourself the hassle and look for opportunities elsewhere with employers who will treat you with basic human decency. One star is too generous a rating for such a poorly run operation

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
