There was a time when NovelVox was a very good company to work. But now it is not. There is a lady who has made the environment very toxic. When she came she hired a previous colleague as Project Manager. First she fired our support manager and then made that Manager as Support Manager. That fellow is working as manager in both the departments (PMO and Support). That fellow has fired many of our support members. Due to him various old employees have left the organisation in multiple departments (product , sales etc.). Whenever someone files any complaint of that manager, the lady saves her. After few months the person who has filed a complaint is fired by the management. Can you imagine, a employee who was once the backbone of the company ang gave 10 12 years of service is fired if he makes a complaint. The HRs are also helpless as they fear losing their own jobs. These two people have so much influence that a former HR head had to resign. A new delivery director with 20years experience joined the organisation but this manger plotted against him, played all the politics and got him kicked out within 2 months. He was given the reason of Bad performance. Can a you judge a 20 years experienced professional in 2 months ? And can a 20 years experienced professional will be a bad performer. This manger was asked to report to this 20 years experienced professional but he refused and no one in the management including the HRs did anything. You will find many other stories like this of many employees. Just research through the glassdoor and ambition box. Politics is in every organisation but the level of politics is different here. There is a pattern which is followed by these two people of firing other employees. In every 3 4 months someone is fired. So if you want to learn politics , please join NovelVox. You will have a good experience of politics before resigning due to toxic work culture. The directors do not give a shit to these things as the ony thing which matters to a businessman is profit.

...leave is a very common practice here without any Performance Improvement Plan. HR is married to a Technical Lead here and she passes on each and every information related to the respective salary of every employee to him.

...ey only hire upper management candidates and dosen’t want to improve their tech. No salary hikes. CEO acts like a admin employee. Do not join this company if you are experienced. Work from home policy applies only for management.

Poor management. All the policies are for junior employees only. Lower salaries. Baised leads for their fav team members. growth opportunities are very less. They can replace you anytime with new employees. Old technologies.

Likes

The company has a excellent work culture with the people full of enthusiasm. Novelvox offers great learning opportunities with a good pay scale. Work - life balance is good. The management is cooperative and holds an adaptive approach towards continuous improvement in policies is something to look for.

Dislikes

There should be improvement in employee training mechanism.
